POC vows support

THE PHILIPPINE Olympic Committee (POC), headed by Jose Sering, yesterday sent congratulatory messages to President Corazon C. Aquino, Prime Minister and Vice President Salvador Laurel and AFP Chief of Staff Gen. Fidel Ramos.

Sering said the POC would stand behind the new leadership and pledged the cooperation of the POC with government to promote the development of sports in the country.
