Amway Philippines donates goods to Red Cross for relief operations

Leo Boon Wang, General Manager, Amway Singapore and Philippines (4th from left), presents the Amway products to Philippine Red Cross Chairman Richard Gordon in a turnover ceremony. Others (from left) are Raymund Cabanatan, APHL Finance and Operations Head; Jonathan Lim, APHL Sales Manager; Leni Olmedo, APHL Country Manager; Dra. Monina Nalupta, Director of Blood Services; Ryan Jopia, Manager, Community Health and Nursing Services, PRC; Camille Cadelina, Executive Assistant, Office of the Chairman; and Eric Salve, Manager, Operations Center, PRC.

True to its commitment of helping Filipinos live better lives, Amway Philippines (APHL), one of the leading direct-selling companies in the country, recently turned over some 350 bags of Amway products to the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to aid in the PRC relief operations in calamity-stricken areas in the country. These products include the company’s Pursue Disinfectant Cleaner, Body Series Bar Soap, Nutrilite Acerola C vitamins and its Achiever’s Coffee.

According to Chairman Gordon, Amway products can help not just households but even educational and medical institutions that have been affected by the recent typhoons and flooding in the country.

Apart from donating goods to organizations like PRC, Amway executives and staff have also recently provided assistance to a few barangays in Pasig City, conducting their own flood relief operations in collaboration with the local government.
