I'm not a pro-erap (didnāt even vote) but what I think is
that this situation of the Erap resign movement or the
impeach Erap thing which triggered a major setback in the
economy is a political play.  Those who cannot accept the
fact that the majority of the Filipino people voted for
Erap will not stop from doing all they can to get rid of
him even if it will mean that the majority would suffer the
consequences. Adding up to what is already messy situation
are the plans to paralyze the government which are
spearheaded by those who wants to take over (who else
will).  This problem will only stop if all of us will unite
to make this government work for us and not for those
selfish politicians who are only after of power and greed.

I donāt discount the fact that there is an issue regarding
graft and corruption involving the president. Why let him
resign if he is really guilty? We should go through the
process of impeachment so that the world will see that we
cannot  just easily let go of a corrupt person. Jail the
corrupt!! That way, we could show to the world that
Filipinos are always FAIR by giving the president a chance
to air his side/defend himself.

Finally, the problem will not stop. Whether Erap will be
impeached or will resign then GMA will take over, if the
politicians will not benefit from her, she will also go
through some bad times. Probably, even worse than what Erap
is experiencing right now.

Why do we always let these crazy politicians use us. We
should all wake up and see the reality that the same
politicians who helped Erap get the presidency are the same
people who are now working for his ouster. Tama na ang
balimbingan na kung sino ang malakas ay doon tayo. Stop
political positioning!!!

Why donāt we work out this problem by helping the
government in anyway we could, go through the process of
impeachment and let the politicians play their game.
Whatever is the outcome, let us not be part of their
political play. Sila lang ang makikinabang dyan.

Politics in the Philippines is a big industry. Unlike any
other industries, the bigger it becomes the poorer the
people gets. Something is definitely wrong with the
morality of the Filipinos. It's  our collective mindset
that we had turned out like this.  Let's change for the
sake of our children. We can start with the empeachment of
the president. He may have an image to protect but this is
not about image anymore. This is about the future of our
children. May God bless the Philippines.

I've noticed that the online surveys in both Inquirer and
Phil. Star are getting tons of pro-Estrada votes.  I'm
pretty sure this does not reflect the sentiment of the
majority.  Somebody is manipulating public opinion by doing
this.  It is actually one way to turn the tide over.

no, things wont improve if the president resigned & gma
assumed presidency. why cant just people wait for the law
to take its course? if gma really is a good leader as she
says she is, why cant she respect the law? gma wont make an
effective leader, you know. have you guys seen her @ issue
101. god, she was horrible. i was ready to throw up after
seeing her evade questions. im sure the guys who were @
isyu101 that night would agree. gma, clean your own mess
first before looking @ others. tama sila, gma, ibinoto ka
lang ng mga tao dahil sa 2 bagay: 1. ang epilyedo mong
macapagal 2. ang nunal mo. wala ng iba. so dont go around
parading youre miss high and mighty because you just aint.

What is it that makes a Filipino believe that receiving 200
million pesos, depositing the amount in a bank account is

not the same as "taking the money".  To all this I might
add the small detail that the "bribe" or the "attempt to
bribe" wasn't reported.  If it looks like a duck; and it
walks like a duck; and it quacks like a duck, then it must
be a duck.  The most pathetic aspect of it all is that
others, including "respectable" government officials share
this same view.  We simply have to wake up to the sober
reality that our Filipino values are all screwed up.  We
definitely have a big crisis on our hands.

also corrupt as the president.

It is clear that Mr. Estrada will not resign and will hold
and manipulate the impeachmentprocedures!  In this line we
the Filipino people must unite and express our sentiments
to the current regime by giving Mr.Estrada a big blow of
pressure by participating to the different mobilization
againts Erap in Mendiola(Mlcng).Wa must act consistently to

oust Mr.Estrada to Mlcng.

Estrada said"kahit isang sentimo ay hindi ako tumangap mula
sa jueteng".Now he is admitting that he deposited 200M pesos
from Singson. No matter what he says,he took the money and he
is guilty.How can a Liar,a drunkard,an adulterer, an
alcoholics,a gambler, and acorrupt president be allowed to
rule a nation? Are the Filipinos that stupid?
