STUDENTS of the Iloilo National High School now enjoy the wonders of the Internet made possible by the GILAS or Gearing Up Internet Literacy and Access for Students Project. Iloilo National HS is one of the seven public high schools in Iloilo City that were equipped with computer laboratories and Internet connectivity by GILAS.

FORGING a partnership for the water system project of the community of Barangay Bitin in Bay, Laguna. Signing the agreement were (from left) Barangay Bitin Chairman Alberto Navarette, Ayala Foundation Director Mario Deriquito, UP Pahinungod Project Manager Dr. Jose Medina and Unocal Mak-Ban Asset Manager Minerva Batoon.

DARLENE Borromeo chanced upon GILAS and decided to give back to the homeland by donating in celebration of her 50th birthday to provide public high school students in her hometown, General Santos City, access to the Internet.
