IN COMMEMORATION of the 105th anniversary of Philippine Independence, the Filipino community in France in cooperation with the Philippine Embassy in Paris will hold a whole-day celebration on July 6.

The celebration will start at 9 a.m. with the Philippine National Anthem followed by an inspirational talk from Philippine ambassador to France Hector K.Villarroel.

Event activities include children's parlor games; sports events such as basketball and volleyball; a stage play; and the awarding of raffle prizes. The entrance fee is 2 euros.
