The Filipino Community of Carson will hold its annual Mrs. Philippine Independence coronation ball and dinner dance at the Carson Civic Center on Saturday, June 7.

Elsie Moran will reign as Mrs. Philippines; Lorna Ordinario, Mrs. Luzon; Rose Legaspi, Mrs. Visayas; Menchie Silvano, Mrs. Mindanao; and Linda Jane Orteguero, Mrs. Manila. Willie Manacsa's The Midnight Motion Band will provide music.
