Jim Paredes of enduring Filipino band APO Hiking Society
brings his other persona to the Bay Area -- not as singer
but as teacher. His workshop "Tapping the Creative Universe"
is a breakthrough one-day session to unlock one's creativity.
In between concerts, Paredes lends his name and speaks on
environmental issues, social and political causes. He teaches
communication arts at the Ateneo de Manila University and
runs creativity workshops for corporations and community groups.
He will be the sole speaker and facilitator of the "Tapping
the Creative Universe" workshop.
The interactive morning session alone includes activities
to draw out from the participants their dormant creative nature
and thus "introduce new and exciting possibilities that
will make them more productive in their daily lives."
The "Following Your Bliss" afternoon session includes
guided meditation and dream drawing
"Tapping the Creative Universe" is presented by
EasterWorks, a publishing and marketing company. The workshop
is open to the public. Seats are limited. Fees are 55 dollars
