"VIP -- Very Important Pinoys" and "Writer's
Block" will have their world premieres at the 2003 NY
International Independent Film and Video Festival.
The documentary "VIP -- Very Important Pinoys"
is a son's tribute to his parents and their Filipino- American
senior citizen friends -- 15 friends and 15 different stories.
Meanwhile, "Writer's Block" is the story of an
aspiring screenwriter who is assigned his first project --
but only three days to complete it. Sleep deprivation, hallucination,
and distraction ensue. The film is written by the award-winning
team of Todd M. Jones and Jeremy Linden and stars Fil-American
director, actor and producer Luis Pedron. Pedron, who is also
the director and producer of "VIP -- Very Important Pinoys,"
was awarded the Independent Achievement Award at the NY International
Film and Video Festival in September 2002.
