SA PINILAKANG TABING (On the Silver Screen), now on its seventh
year, is the only East Coast film and video festival showcasing
innovative and experimental works by artists of Filipino descent
or works featuring issues concerning the Philippines or the
Filipino diaspora.
The SP*T filmfest will be held in two venues:

Both venues will screen feature-length and short films, and
include question and answer sessions. The primary venue, Anthology
Film Archives, is the premier institution for independent
and avant-garde films.
SP*T is a creative project of Arkipelago, a New York City-based,
volunteer-run Filipino arts and cultural organization. Through
the arts, Arkipelago continues to encourage critical dialogue
and promote community involvement in issues that concern the
Filipino diaspora.
