COLLABORATIVE Opportunities for Raising Empowerment Inc.,
an organization of progressive, young Filipino-American professionals,
will host Filipino Americans in Music Entertainment (FAME)
at Lighthouse International, 111 East 59th Street (between
Park and Lexington Avenues), in New York City on September
26.
This groundbreaking event will connect attendees with successful
Filipino-American professionals in the highly competitive
world of music entertainment. Drawing on individual experiences
in promotion, public relations, entertainment law, production,
accounting, and new business among others, the FAME panelists
will provide valuable insight into the music industry.
The FAME event will start with a networking cocktail reception
consisting of light snacks and beverages. The speaker panel
and discussion begins at 7 p.m. Seating is limited for the
panel so attendees are advised to arrive early. The registration
fee is 40 dollars until September 19 and 50 dollars at the
door. Attire is business casual. You may register online at
