MABUHAY, Filipinos!

I am an interior designer by profession in this Arab world and have been out here for quite a while
-- long enough to say that reminiscing is the only solution for the nostalgia that I've been experiencing while a million miles away from home.

I am a Bulakenya by birth and nature (wholeheartedly) and have been blessed by our so-called, spirited "malambing" personality that I should say really makes me miss a lot back home. From the love and care I was used to from my biological family, being alone all the while here to earn has forced me to face up to the life of struggles and sacrifices.

The kind of lifestyle in the Gulf makes any expat realize that the nationals here were lucky enough to stay in their own land to live an outrageous life that we Filipinos cannot afford in our own native land.

Checking out the INQ7.net is my everyday habit, at least to keep track of what's on and what's hot in our motherland.

Surely, as every inch of our dreams revolves mainly around getting back to our very own milieu someday and leading a typical life with our loved ones, it will be the task of the next leader that will take over the highest position in our government to uphold a sense of responsibility over governance of our country in consideration of economic development and not merely personal interests. We Filipinos must also help and cooperate for the benefit of our country. We all know that its not only the government that must work hard in pursuing progress and development in our own land, but we ourselves are responsible and liable for what's going on, and what awaits our desperate but hopeful country.
