Limited space, utmost living

WHEN JOSE AND JOSEFINA "Josie" Lanuza bought a one-bedroom condo unit at the Shang Grand Tower in Makati last year, their main concern was maximizing the 80-sq m unit that would serve as their refuge upon their return to Manila from San Francisco. The consideration wasn't there when the couple decorated their West Coast home so they did away with the services of an interior designer. But in Manila, Josie made sure everything would be different from her "French-inspired" San Francisco home.
