DENVER--Western Union Financial Services Inc., a worldwide
leader in money transfer services, offers its customers even
more of a reason to send money home through Western Union
with the Western Union Gold Card. The Western Union Gold Card
is a loyalty program created to reward frequent Western Union
customers with a number of valuable benefits and free phone
time. It is free to enroll. With the card, customers receive
free phone time with every transaction and earn points toward
exciting rewards, including service fee reductions, gift cards
from major retailers such as Blockbuster, Toys 'R' Us and
Sears as well as great merchandise such as cameras and watches.
The Western Union Gold Card also acts as a rechargeable phone
card.
In addition to reward benefits, the Western Union Gold Card
makes sending money to loved ones easier than ever. Gold Card
consumers can use a shorter and simpler money transfer send
form, which saves the customer valuable time.
"Western Union believes in providing value to its customers,"
Ming Ren Shiu, marketing manager for Asia, said in a press
statement. "The Western Union Gold Card is a great way
to reward our loyal customers with a variety of incentives
while providing them the added convenience of transferring
money even more quickly than before. We encourage all of our
customers to enroll in the program and start receiving their
rewards."
Western Union Money Transfer customers can enroll in the
WU Gold Card program at any of the nearly 45,000 agent locations
through the United States. Western Union has agent locations
in certain major metropolitan areas that offer in-language
customer service. Or customers may call 1-877-737-2486 to
enroll by telephone. In the Philippines, Western Union customers
can conveniently pick up their money at 6,639 agent locations
throughout the country.
Among major mainstream companies serving the needs of minority
communities, Western Union is the most visible. It reinvests
in the community by funding life improvement events, holding
pre-departure seminars for immigrants and workers trying their
luck in foreign shores, and supporting cultural programs.
