Look at the clear night sky

So quiet, so peaceful

Look at the sparkling stars

Aren’t they beautiful?

Flashing like crystals

Gleaming like eyes

Staying up there

Looking down on us

They remind us of past memories

From the birth of man

Up until now

They’ve been there, watching us

Lighting the way for travelers

Leading those who are lost

Delighting kids

Amazing everyone

Watch them glimmer

Glimmer across the night sky

Watch them flicker

As they slowly fade away

As the night slowly vanishes

Replaced by the morning shine

You can still see a few stars

Saying their last good-bye’s

But they’ll be back

Like they’ve always been all this time

When night takes over

They’ll be back to shine once again
