My Politeness Plan
A little wave, a little chat
A little laugh, a little pat
A nice police tip of the hat
That's all there is, just do all that
This is my politeness plan,
when it comes to this, I'm a very big fan
To pick your nose, to spit, to shore,
I hate them all and much, much more!
And now good-bye to one and all,
just be polite and you won't fall.
Grandparents
It seemed like only yesterday,
when I was only three
But now that I am older,
I know that you still love me.
When I was a baby,
you treated me so gently,
like pails of gold with coins
and coins aplenty
But now it's my responsibility,
to take care of you,
as you took care of me.
And I love you with all my heart,
more than enough to fill a whole cart.
Bananas
Bananas, bananas, oh! how sweet!
Bananas, bananas, oh! what a treat!
I could eat one, two, three, four
No! no! I want more!
Bananas, bananas, I crave for you,
Too bad there's only a few.
Books
Books! Books
I have a book,
that tells you how to look
for girls and boys and lovely toys
and things that people cook.
From gods and lords
to kings and swords,
and the money they took.
Luisa, 9, wants to become a poet, a ballerina and a dress designer when she grows up.
Abi is a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan. One of these days,
she'd like to go to far off place, surrounded by water and take care of elephants.
