This Christmas, Eastwood Mall is drawing  foodies to its Holiday Gourmet Market.

It is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. until New Year’s Eve on the second level. Eastwood Mall’s Holiday Gourmet Market  offers exciting finds, specialties and new food ideas, including organic food products for health-conscious shoppers.

“It has been our goal every year to make Eastwood Mall’s Holiday Gourmet Market the best of its kind, not only in terms of comfort and convenience for shoppers, but also in terms of variety and uniqueness of the products being offered. This year, we have more merchants, some bringing products that are very unique and never seen before in the market, which makes it all the more exciting,” says Megaworld first vice president and commercial division head Kevin Tan.

Filipino delicacies such as kakanin, puto and kutsinta are available at Coco Delight, while Gaboo’s Homemade Delicacies has  local favorites with a gourmet twist. Michelle’s putong ube is also a must-try.

Those who love seafood can buy Fisher Farm’s famous rellenong bangus and other delectable bangus-based cuisine. Da Gabrielle has authentic Italian-food favorites at affordable prices, while savory sausages, hams, steaks and other meat products are available at Jill’s Homemade Products.

Crukitchen, known for its heavenly chocolate treats, is also offering its famous quezo de bola cheesecake.

Get your sweet-tooth fix at Cakes and Bakes, which has a delightful selection of cakes and pastries, or at Russian Cookiehouse, which offers delicious and freshly baked cookies and treats. For more  decadent presents, shoppers can grab one of Cocoa Monster’s irresistible gourmet chocolates, including the uniquely Filipino mango chocolates (dried mangoes coated with rich local chocolate).

They can also get boxes of French macarons baked by Rosemarie’s, special ensaymadas and cheese rolls by Must be Mom’s, or one of the rich yema cakes from Patiserrie Caroline.

For health-conscious shoppers, Eastwood Mall’s Holiday Gourmet Market also houses Newtrition, which sells a variety of organic vegetable-based food products, and Healthy Treats, which offers treats and beverages that are health-friendly.

Manuka Health sells special honey-based products that are believed to help cure various common diseases and prevent ailments. Organic vinegar and home-made leche flan are also available at Lola Consuelo’s.
