MANILA, Philippines—The Department of Education denied that classes up to college level have been suspended in Metro Manila and other flooded areas until Friday.

In a tweet, it said the information circulating on social media about the three-day suspension of classes supposedly announced by DepEd and the Commission on Higher Education “is not true.”
