MANILA, Philippines — As of 5 p.m. Thursday, classes in the following areas will remain suspended until Friday, August 10, according to the Department of Education:
Metro Manila
Marikina: pre-school to high school levels, both public and private, on orders of Mayor Del de Guzman
Caloocan: pre-school to high school levels, both public and private, on orders of Mayor Recom Echiverri
Quezon City: pre-school to high school levels, both public and private, on orders of Mayor Herbert Bautista
Valenzuela City: all levels, both public and private, including Pamantasan ng Lungson ng Valenzuela and Valenzuela City Polytechnic College, on orders of Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian
Pasay City
Malabon
Navotas
Region 3
Malolos, Bulacan
Schools
Letran: Classes in all levels and office work remain suspended until Saturday; Regular classes will resume Monday, via @LetranOfficial on Twitter
University of Asia and the Pacific: Classes on Friday are suspended, will resume on Saturday; work resumes on Friday, via @uapasia on Twitter
