Lim suspends work at Manila City Hall

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim suspended work in City Hall Wednesday as the country’s capital remain flooded due to torrential rains spawned by the southwest monsoon.

 

The announcement was made by Lim through his twitter account posted several minutes ago.

 

Announcement on the suspension of work in the private sector is left to the discretion of their top officials, Lim said.
