Sunshiny and cheery

MANILA, Philippines—With her husband Jappy Pascual, “Unang Hirit” host Lyn Ching built a “sunshiny and cheery” home in a Quezon City subdivision.

For starters, the three-story residence is painted a happy shade of yellow.

Lyn admits that she was very exacting when the workers were mixing the paint.

“I wanted a specific shade of yellow. It’s not too strong and lemony, more mango yellow, but a bit lighter. Very Mediterranean.”

She also made sure that the home would be airy and relaxing—like a laid-back resort that offers a breathtaking view of the Antipolo mountains. “When friends visit, they find it hard to leave,” she says.
