House panel: Impeach rap vs SC justice Del Castillo ‘sufficient in form’
MANILA, Philippines – Voting 11-10 with one abstention, the committee on justice at the House of Representatives declared that an impeachment complaint against Supreme Court Justice Mariano del Castillo was "sufficient in form."
The committee still has to determine if the complaint against Del Castillo, which was filed by several congressmen who accused him of committing plagiarism in writing a recent Supreme Court ruling, was also "sufficient in substance."
