15th Asian Games

I JUST want to express my cordial appreciation and extend my congratulations to the Qatar government for the successful hosting of the 15th Asian Games (Doha 2006) with such a fantastic grand opening and the most spectacular closing ceremony in an Asian Games that I have seen.

Wow, what an exquisite “One Thousand & One Arabian Nights” ceremony it was, which enthralled the audience worldwide and showcased colorful Arabian culture. Those production numbers looked like they were straight from Walt Disney, capped with a closing song from the Philippines’ Ms Lea Salonga.

Congratulations to all Qatari and to the athletes from the different participating countries, especially the gold medalists from our country. Well done.
