Glorietta blast victims’ kin remember, await justice
Philippine Daily Inquirer
MANILA, Philippines – Relatives of the 11 people who died in the Glorietta 2 blast in 2007 lit candles at the site on Monday to demand justice for their loved ones.
Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption founder Dante Jimenez said the Department of Justice has yet to finish its preliminary investigation on charges of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicide and serious physical injuries filed against Ayala Land officials.
Eleven people were killed while more than 100 were hurt when a methane gas leak reportedly caused an explosion in the Makati City mall exactly two years ago.
