MANILA, Philippines -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will convene the National Disaster Coordinating Council officials Tuesday as some parts of the country continue to experience bad weather caused by typhoons “Mina” (international codename: Mitag) and “Lando” (international codename: Hagibis).

The 11 a.m. meeting will also have officials of the Bicol Calamity Assistance and Rehabilitation Effort (CARE), which have been assisting families sheltered in various evacuation centers in the region.

Even as "Mina" spared Bicol, a number of families remained in evacuation centers as the typhoon also brought rains in some parts of the regions.

At 12 noon, Arroyo will preside over the meeting of the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) and at the joint NEDA and National Anti-Poverty Commission meeting at 2 p.m.
