JAIME Cardinal Sin last night expressed his appreciation to the Filipino people for their patriotic efforts in maintaining calm amid the tension in camps Crame and Aguinaldo even as he called the Armed Forces of the Philippines to be “loyal to God and to the country.

The influential church leader reiterated his call for a peaceful struggle for justice because “influence will beget more violence.”

He asked that all people manning the two camps specially the uniformed men to “prove yourselves to be men of integrity and conscience” by not resorting to violence.
