Sen. Tito Sotto files COC seeking reelection

MANILA, Philippines — Former Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III filed his certificate of candidacy on Wednesday, seeking a Senate comeback.
Sotto, who served as the 23rd Senate president from 2018 to 2022, filed his COC at Manila Hotel Tent City.

He is included in the administration’s senatorial slate.
Sotto was first elected senator in the 1992 midterm elections.
