Siblings bid for congressional seats in Zamboanga del Sur

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur – The siblings Jeyzl Victoria and Joseph Kim Yu filed their respective certificates of candidacy (COC) on Saturday for Zamboanga del Sur province’s two seats in the House of Representatives.
Both are children of Zamboanga del Sur Gov. Victor Yu and Zamboanga del Sur Rep. Divina Grace Yu.
Jezyl Victoria is seeking reelection in the second congressional district while Joseph Kim, currently president of Libertad Power and Energy Corp., bids for the seat of the first congressional district.
In a short interview, Jezyl Victoria said that she hopes to continue to help build more roads and other public infrastructure facilities in the province. She cited the need for more school buildings.

Jezyl Victoria will face former governor and Rep. Aurora Enerio-Cerilles while Joseph Kim will slug it out with outgoing Labangan town Mayor Eduardo Relacion.
