8 Metro Manila bets file COC at Comelec – NCR office
MANILA, Philippines — Eight aspiring candidates for various posts in Metro Manila filed their certificates of candidacy on Day 5 of the filing of COCs at the Commission on Elections (C0melec) National Capital Region office in San Juan City.
Below is the list of electoral hopefuls for the 2025 national and local elections, as well as the positions they are vying for and the party list they belong to:
- Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro – Marikina City 1st district representative, National Unity Party
- Louisito “Doc Loui” Chua, City of Manila 4th district representative, independent
- Florencio “Bem” Noel – lone Congressional district of Malabon City, National People’s Coalition
- Jaime “Jimmy” Fresnedi – lone Congressional district of Muntinlupa City, Liberal Party
- Roman Romulo – lone Congressional district of Pasig City, National People’s Coalition
- Reynaldo “Rey” Malonzo – Caloocan City 1st district representative, Kapisanan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino
- Maria Therese “Trisha” Bonoan-David – City of Manila 4th district representative, independent
- Vincent “Bingbong” Crisologo – Quezon City 1st district representative, Partido Federal ng Pilipinas
The last day of filing of COCs is on October 8.
