Former DOH exec Eric Tayag guns for House seat
MANILA, Philippines — Former Department of Health (DOH) undersecretary Eric Tayag is gunning for a seat in the House of Representatives.
Tayag filed the certificate of nomination and acceptance for the Heal PH party-list, of which he is one of the nominees, at the Manila Hotel Tent City on Monday.

Before being a DOH undersecretary, Tayag served as Director IV of the agency’s Bureau of Local Health Systems Development.

He also served as the Director IV of the DOH’s National Epidemiology Center.
Tayag was known as the “Dancing Asec” as he raised awareness of government health programs through dancing.
