MANILA, Philippines — Bagong Henerasyon (BH) party-list is seeking reelection with a promise that no Filipinos would be left behind.

On Monday, the group, through its Chairperson and Representative Bernadette Herrera, lodged its certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for the 2025 elections.

BH party-list has reaffirmed its commitment to “social upliftment, especially for families, solo parents, and marginalized sectors.”

“Our fight is far from over. We will continue to push for meaningful reforms that ensure no Filipino is left behind—because when we lift up families, we lift up the nation,” Herrera’s statement read.

BH party-list said they will continue to push for laws and programs supporting various sectors, including women, health, agriculture, and education.

Among their plans is to push for guarantee letters, allowing patients to access treatment at private hospitals and purchase medicines from drugstores.

“This includes specific support for chronic kidney disease, hemophilia patients, and children with learning disabilities, ensuring healthcare access for all Filipinos,” BH party-list’s statement read.

Herrera also supported the passage of the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act, providing increased benefits and support to solo parents.

“Solo parents face unique challenges, and it is our responsibility to ease their burden. We will continue to push for more benefits, better implementation of the law, and ensure that no solo parent is left behind,” she said.
