Cavite 8th Dist. Rep. Tolentino files COC for reelection
MANILA, Philippines – Cavite 8th District Rep. Aniela Bianca D. Tolentino recently filed her Certificate of Candidacy for reelection in the 2025 midterm elections.
Tolentino is the Vice-Chairperson of the Committee on Youth and Sports Development, Committee on Science and Technology, and Committee on Public Works in the 19th Congress.
Aside from advocating several local bills, Tolentino also championed several pieces of legislation that are now being implemented in the national level.
The bills she pushed to become law include: Republic Act No. 11958 or the law rationalizing the pension of veterans; Republic Act No. 11960 or the One-Town, One Product Law; Republic Act No. 11967 or the Internet Transactions Act; Republic Act No. 11981 or the Tatak Pinoy Act; and Republic Act No. 11982 or the law which improved the benefits for centenarians, nonagenarians, and octogenarians.
Tolentino is also working on the passage of other nationally-significant laws like the waste-to-energy bill, increasing the number of Court of Appeals Justices, creating a scholarship fund for nuclear science and nuclear engineering, establishing a special hospital for teachers and their dependents, and a bill that will provide free diagnosis for breast cancer for all Filipino women.

Tolentino is very active in making sure that the needs of her constituents in the 8th District of Cavite are met.
She is often seen on the ground supervising the delivery of financial and medical assistance to those who are in need.
“My primary goal as the representative of the 8th district of Cavite is to ensure that the quality of life of Caviteños in our community be improved. I can proudly say that we have done a lot. I am very thankful that Caviteños are reaping the benefits of the non-stop infrastructure and progress that are flowing continuously in our district during my term,” she said.
“I am praying and hoping that Caviteños in the 8th district will continue to put their trust on me and on my part, I will make sure that I will not fail them,” she added.
