MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. on Tuesday touted his endorsed Senate slate for the 2025 elections, highlighting their focus on proposing laws rather than opposing and fostering unity instead of sowing division.
“Hindi na sila nag dadada, na basta daldal ng daldal–gawa lang sila ng gawa, trabaho lang sila ng trabaho,” said Marcos who led the ‘Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas’ rally at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
(They will not talk too much, just yapping and yapping – all they do is work they just work and work.)
Marcos likewise noted that his Senate candidates knows the ins and outs of being in a high government position.
“They will stand in the Senate not to oppose but to propose, ibig sabihin, wala silang hinahangad na panggulo, wala silang iniisip na pagwatakwatakin ang Pilipinas, Wala silang iniisip kung hindi ang pagkakaisa para sa ikabubuti ng ating bansa,” he added.
(They will stand in the Senate not to oppose but to propose, meaning, they don’t seek trouble, they don’t think about dividing the Philippines, they don’t think about anything but unity for the good of our country.)
