MANILA, Philippines — Three weeks into the campaign season for national candidates started, Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco believes support for the senatorial bets of Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas has become evident after six sorties across the country.
The strong support for the Alyansa Senate bets can also be attributed to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration, Tiangco, the campaign manager for Alyansa, said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Alyansa has received an overwhelmingly positive response from Filipinos, which reflects strong support for President Bongbong Marcos and his Bagong Pilipinas agenda,” Tiangco said.
“Everywhere we go, we see the enthusiasm of the people. They want leaders who will push for continuity, stability, and real reforms that will uplift their lives,” Tiangco pointed out.
So far, the Alyansa bets have jointly visited Laoag City in Ilocos Norte, Iloilo City in Iloilo province, and Carmen in Davao del Norte for their proclamation rallies.
The administration-backed candidates then went to Pasay City for their first-ever sortie in Metro Manila, followed by visits to Dumaguete City in Negros Oriental and Victorias City in Negros Occidental.
“We are not just seeing high attendance at our events — we are seeing genuine excitement and engagement,” Tiangco said.
“People are eager to hear from our candidates and understand their plans for economic growth, infrastructure development, and social welfare,” he added.

Furthermore, Tiangco said Filipinos had been responsive to their message and platform.
“We are bringing our message straight to the people, and they are responding with overwhelming support. As we continue to visit more provinces, we are confident that voters will stand with us in electing a Senate that will uphold the administration’s vision for national development,” he noted.
“From the north in Laoag to the Visayas and Mindanao, the message is clear — our people trust this administration’s vision, and they want a Senate that will work with the president, not against him,” he added.

Marcos has been bold and adamant in his speeches during Alyansa rallies, often clarifying that their candidates were not tainted with accusations of human rights violations nor allegations of tolerating criminal activities and Chinese intrusion over disputed territories.
