Mall voting good for seniors, PWDs but…
MANILA, Philippines — A House lawmaker on Tuesday welcomed the move by 42 malls to set up within their premises voting precincts for the elderly and persons with disability (PWDs) for the May 12 elections.

Senior Citizen Rep. Rodolfo Ordanes thanked the Commission on Elections for taking steps to make voting more convenient although he lamented the Senate’s inaction on House Bill No. 7576, which would make them eligible for early voting. —Jeannette I Andrade
