In a show of support to develop the 1st District of Batangas, several senators and senatorial candidates attended two days of events with over 60,000 Batangueños led by Leandro Legarda Leviste, who is running for Batangas 1st District representative.

Senator Loren Legarda, the mother of Leviste, joined her colleagues on both days, calling for greater support for the development of the 1st District of Batangas.
The events were held in Nasugbu, Balayan, and Taal, and included Batangueños from Lian, Calatagan, Tuy, Calaca, and Lemery. The senators and senatorial candidates discussed local priorities, including job creation, infrastructure development, and expanded social services.

“For the past decades, other districts have developed faster than the 1st District because of greater support from the national government. The 1st District has great potential, and with more support, can become among the most prosperous in the Batangas,” Leviste said.
Legarda thanked her fellow senators for their support for the development of the 1st District of Batangas.
“The national government’s support for the development of the 1st District of Batangas is important, and through united efforts with local governments, we can more effectively implement programs that will help our countrymen,” Legarda said.
Through the two days of events, the senators demonstrated their unity and dedication in advancing laws and programs that would benefit the people of the 1st District of Batangas.
