Major PH transport group endorses Isko Moreno, Chi Atienza in Manila
Isko Moreno and his runningmate Chi Atienza get the support of the Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines or Fejodap for the local elections in Manila.
MANILA, Philippines — Mayoral candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso has secured the backing of the Federation of Jeepney Operators and Drivers Association of the Philippines (Fejodap) for the upcoming 2025 midterm elections.
Not only did the major transport group endorse Domagoso for Mayor, but also his running mate Chi Atienza for Vice Mayor and his entire slate of candidates for congressmen and councilors for Manila’s six districts.
In an interview, Fejodap president Rodelio Sotto cited Domagoso’s strong leadership, good governance, and public service dedication as the reasons behind their support.
The endorsement came after a unified decision within the major transport group, with officers and members comparing Domagoso’s administration to the current leadership.
The Fejodap president also praised Domagoso’s hands-on approach in governance, recalling how the former mayor personally ensured order and safety in Manila even during late hours.
Sotto said Manila residents and transport workers alike feel the absence of strong leadership in the city, stressing the need to bring back Domagoso to Manila City Hall.
With Fejodap’s backing, Domagoso and Atienza gain a strong ally in the transport sector, reinforcing their campaign’s commitment to public service, order, and governance restoration.
