Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan supporters attend Quezon rally

LUCENA CITY, Philippines — The camps of former senators Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino and Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan staged a rally in Lucena City in Quezon province on Thursday, March 20, with 53 days before the midterm elections.

Supporters were treated to performances by local acts as they gathered at the Quezon Convention Center, carrying pink and green balloons, cutouts of the candidates and placards.

Aquino, Pangilinan supporters gather for Quezon Province rally

Aquino is expected to attend the rally and will be joined by former Vice President Leni Robredo.

Meanwhile, Pangilinan will be represented by his brother, John.

 Senator Risa Hontiveros will be giving a message virtually.

Ahead of the campaign rally, “Pinoy Big Brother” Season 2 winner Bea Saw and more artists and influencers went house-to-house for Aquino and Pangilinan in Barangays Marketview and Talao-Talao.

Before heading to Quezon, the Aquino and Pangilinan’s camps held a sortie in Bacolod City in Negros Occidental on Wednesday evening.

Both Quezon and Negros Occidental are among the country’s most vote-rich provinces in the 2025 midterm polls with 1,496,156 and 2,001,732 registered voters, respectively.

Aquino and Pangilinan are campaigning on platforms of education and food security, respectively.

Aquino is running under the Katipunan ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino Party, while Pangilinan is under the Liberal Party.
