Isko Moreno’s Manila mayoral bid gets support from grassroots groups
Former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno gets support from groups KAAGAPAY, Kababaihan, and KABAKA.
With the May 2025 elections fast approaching, former Manila Mayor Isko Moreno is once again drawing strong support from grassroots organizations.
Major groups KAAGAPAY, Kababaihan, and KABAKA have officially thrown their support to his bid to return to city hall.
“Nagkaisa ang tatlong malaking grupo sa Lungsod ng Maynila—ang KAAGAPAY, Kababaihan, at KABAKA—para samahan ang buong Yorme’s Choice sa laban tungo sa pagbabalik ng kapanatagan at pag-unlad sa ating lungsod!” Moreno announced, rallying supporters in his fight to bring back the order and progress that defined his leadership.

If given the chance to lead Manila again, Moreno promises to continue what he started—cleaning up the streets, restoring public spaces, and ensuring government services reach those who need them most.
He plans to intensify the relocation of informal settlers into decent housing, upgrade healthcare facilities, and provide better livelihood opportunities for residents.
Traffic and flooding remain top concerns, and he aims to implement long-term solutions, including improved road management and infrastructure projects designed to make daily life easier for Manileños.
Beyond addressing the city’s pressing issues, Moreno envisions a more vibrant and beautiful Manila—one where public parks are well-maintained, historic sites are preserved, and communities are safe and thriving.
His previous tenure saw major improvements in sanitation, urban renewal, and social welfare, and he is determined to build on those successes to make Manila a city that its people can take pride in once again.
As the campaign heats up, Moreno continues to call on Manileños to stand with him in this fight, believing that with unity and action, the capital can regain its strength and reclaim its place as a model city for the nation.
