On Tuesday, Aquino shared on social media a photo of himself being endorsed by his former colleague, Senate President Francis “Chiz” Escudero. Social media personality Dr. Willie Ong, who has withdrawn from the Senate race, also endorsed Aquino when the latter visited his home in Pasay City.
Pangilinan, for his part, bagged the endorsement of Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, who said the Senate needs more lawyers like him. Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon and the Quezon City Council also endorsed Pangilinan. —Krixia Subingsubing
