Camille Villar gets support from Bataan leaders
BATAAN — Senatorial candidate Camille Villar received support from key Bataan officials as she reaffirmed her commitment to uplifting the province’s agricultural and fisheries sectors during a recent visit.
Backed by Bataan second district Rep. Albert Raymond “Abet” Garcia, Orani Mayor Efren “Bondjong” Pascual Jr., and first district board member Atty. Tony Roman, Villar expressed gratitude for the warm endorsement and reiterated her deep personal connection to the province.
Villar’s grandmother, Curita “Nanay Curing” Bamba Villar, hailed from Orani, making Bataan a place she considers close to her heart.
“I always feel at home in Bataan,” Villar said. “This is my way of giving back to the province that helped shape our family’s roots.”
Villar, who is running under a platform focused on inclusive development, has pledged to prioritize Bataan in terms of support for local industries, particularly agriculture and fisheries, two key sectors in the province’s economy.
Her broader legislative agenda includes advancing women and children’s welfare, strengthening education, expanding access to housing, promoting financial literacy, and generating livelihood and job opportunities.
As the May 2025 national elections draw near, Villar continues to gain ground with endorsements from local leaders and communities who see her as a strong voice for grassroots development and economic empowerment.
