The improved ranking reflects growing public recognition of the unique challenges faced by solo parents and the party-list’s consistent local engagements and social advocacy.

Many supporters view the Solo Parents Party-list as a dignified voice against discrimination and outdated stereotypes following their filing of petitions for disqualification against several local candidates who uttered controversial remarks involving solo parents.

This dramatic shift in the survey results shows that our message is resonating,” said Dr. Roselle Teodosio, the party-list’s spokesperson.
