Alyansa tapers off campaign season with a return to `powerhouse’ Bulacan

Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates wish to clarify the definition of political dynasty should they become part of the 20th Congress.

MANILA, Philippines — The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial slate will be returning to Bulacan as the campaign season for the 2025 midterm elections nears its end. It will visit Malolos on Wednesday, May 7.

In a statement on Tuesday, Alyansa campaign manager and Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco said that the slate returns to Bulacan not only to woo voters, but to assure the province’s residents that it is vital to the administration’s vision of a national development.

“Bulacan is a powerhouse, a gateway to progress. This province has always stood for strong leadership, and Alyansa is committed to ensuring that Bulakenyos reap the full benefits of national development,” Tiangco said.

“These projects will not just benefit Bulacan but will fuel the economic growth of the entire Central Luzon region,” he added.

Alyansa has already made a stop in Bulacan, visiting San Jose del Monte City last February 28.  The 11-person line-up backed by President Ferdinand Marcos was originally scheduled to visit Bulacan last March 28, but the Alyansa team gave way to local officials who have invited the senatorial bets for the start of local campaign period.

The rally in Pampanga was also suspended, but Alyansa visited the province upon the invite of incumbent officials, led by Governor Dennis Pineda and Vice Governor Lilia Pineda.

Tiangco said Alyansa is expecting Bulacan to play a crucial role in the elections with over 2 million registered voters, and in nation-building as it has been a “pillar of progress.”

“Bulacan is a pillar of progress. We are here to build on that foundation, ensuring that every Bulakenyo benefits from the nation’s continued development,” he said.
