During the final week of the elections FPJ Panday Bayanihan Partylist prepares for negative campaigning from opponents.

In their `Miting de Avance’ in San Jose, Batangas, FPJ Panday Bayanihan’s Second Nominee Mark Patron spoke out against such attacks.

“We can see in the campaign that the FPJ Panday Bayanihan is very strong, that’s why there are so many negative campaigning from others saying we are handing out money in exchange of votes,” said Patron in Filipino.

“There is no truth in it. FPJ Panday Bayanihan is well loved by the Filipinos, and this will carry us through victory,” he added.

FPJ Panday Bayanihan has kept its high ranking among the party-list groups likely to win in the May 12 elections based on various surveys.

Its nominees, led by Brian Poe-Llamanzares, said they would not be distracted by fabricated allegations. According to Brian Poe, they will continue to focus on voters education to help make sure that there is a clean and fair election on May 12. He further goes on to say that they condemn vote buying of any kind.

He said they would continue reaching out to as many people as possible to deliver their platform for quality public service.

This is the first time FPJ Panday Bayanihan joined the party-list race. Since the group was organized in 2013 as a foundation, its has been engaged in the timely delivery of socio-civic missions, such as providing relief assistance during disasters and calamities.
