PBP champions grassroots approach, provides support to barangay leaders
For Atty. Goyo Larrazabal of Partido sa Bagong Pilipino (#91PBP), true progress begins where most politicians stop looking — in the barangay.
Whether it’s resolving disputes, addressing water shortages, or responding to health concerns, the barangay is always the frontline.
Yet, time and again, barangay officials are overlooked, under-supported, and expected to do more with less. Larrazabal believes it’s time to flip that script.
“They’re not asking for much. They just want to be heard, they want to be seen. They’re asking for help so they can do their jobs even better and provide more services to the communities they serve,” he says.
PBP’s platform is clear: empower barangays, strengthen basic services, and make government visible where it matters most — in the puroks and sitios that rarely make the news.
“When we uplift the barangay, we uplift the nation. That’s how we build a Barangay Panalo.”
And for Atty. Goyo, that’s not a slogan. It’s a roadmap.
