INQUIRER.net livestreams #VotePH2025 coverage
Inquirer.net, the Philippines’ most visited news website, is livestreaming “#VotePH2025,” its news coverage of the May 2025 midterm elections, starting 5 a.m. Monday (May 12) and during key moments of Election Day. This allows Filipinos around the world to stay updated on major developments in the conduct and results of the elections.
The #VotePH2025 livestream on Inquirer.net aims to provide audiences with fresh information, useful references and keen insights the moment the polling centers open, at midday, and at precinct closing, in anticipation of the start of vote counting.
The live coverage will continue by posting partial and unofficial results as they come in.
Veteran digital journalist Jacque Manabat and Neil Arwin Mercado, who anchors the Inquirer website’s digital news updates on weekdays, will host #VotePH2025, bringing their youthful and dynamic brand of journalism to the live coverage.
It will be powered by reports from journalists and digital communication experts of Inquirer.net, the Philippine Daily Inquirer and Cebu Daily News Digital, as well as input from the Inquirer Volunteers team of mostly young campus journalists.
Inquirer.net’s coverage will also highlight key insights on how the election is making an impact online by citing observations on the digital space.
“We want to deliver digital news to the digital audience while still reaching Filipinos who may not be in this space yet. Overall, what we want is to inform and empower citizens during democratic exercises like elections,” said Arlene Burgos, Inquirer.net chief content officer.
