PRO-3 said the violators are facing legal charges in accordance with Comelec Resolution No. 11057 of the Omnibus Election Code, with cases promptly filed in court.

PRO-3 director, Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, emphasized that the crackdown on liquor ban violators forms part of the wider security strategy during the election period.

“The strict enforcement of the liquor ban is crucial to maintaining public order and safety. We will not allow alcohol consumption to compromise peace in our communities, especially at such a critical time,” Fajardo said in a statement.

Fajardo urged the public to cooperate and comply with election-related policies to help guarantee a safe, secure and credible electoral process throughout Central Luzon. (PNA)
