BULAKAN, Bulacan — Former mayor and current mayoral candidate Patrick Meneses arrived at the Bambang Elementary School shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Monday to cast his vote, even as authorities continue to investigate the disappearance of his mother, Precy Meneses.

He was accompanied by his brother, Piccolo Meneses — a former municipal councilor who is running again for the same post.

Precy Meneses was reported missing on Sunday, May 11, after failing to arrive for a planned Mother’s Day dinner at a restaurant in Guiguinto.

FEATURED STORIES

Patrick filed a police blotter at the Guiguinto police station the same day.

Bulacan Police Provincial director Col. Franklin Esttoro confirmed that a task force has been created to investigate the case.

Guiguinto police chief Col. Christian Alucod said the last known sighting of Precy’s vehicle and its convoy was along the North Luzon Expressway near Bocaue.

“If she has not been found by 5 p.m. today, she will be officially declared a missing person,” Alucod said, adding that authorities are also probing the possibility of abduction.
