Meanwhile, candidates Cory Palma and Eagle Ayaon have received 337 and 335 votes, respectively.
In an ambush interview earlier in the day, Sotto said he is looking forward to another term if he wins in the midterm polls.
“We still have a lot to do. One of the things we really need to focus on is institutionalizing our reforms. They need to be long-term,” Sotto told reporters after casting his vote at Vella Verde 5.

“That’s what we’re saying — the changes we’re making shouldn’t be centered on just one person, one politician, or even one group,” he said.
“These should be long-term reforms that we can pass on to the next generation, so that the next set of leaders in Pasig will find it easier to do good, easier to do what’s right, and harder to be corrupt.” /cfc
