Rep. Maan Teodoro poised to win Marikina mayoral race

MANILA, Philippines — Incumbent Marikina Mayor Marcelino “Marcy” Teodoro could potentially hand over the mayoral post to his wife, Marikina 1st District Rep. Marjorie Ann “Maan” Teodoro, based on the partial and unofficial results of the 2025 midterm elections.

Based on data from the Commission on Elections’ transparency server as of 11:32 p.m., Maan Teodoro already has 149,339 votes compared to her closest rival, Marikina 2nd District Rep. Stella Quimbo, who has 118,051 votes so far.
