Data from the Comelec’s transparency server as of 7:46 a.m., with 81 percent of transmitted election returns, shows that Sotto dominated the mayoral race, defeating his opponent Sara Discaya convincingly.

Sotto had 286,897 votes, while Discaya got 24,163.

“It’s three years; we will strengthen the changes and reforms — we need to ensure that it will be institutionalized,” Sotto said.

“Meaning to say, we should ensure that the next leaders of Pasig will ensure that it will be harder to do bad, harder to be corrupt, and easier to be good,” he also said.

The slate’s vice mayoral and congressional candidate also got a commanding lead over their opponents from Discaya’s slate, according to Comelec transparency data results as of 7:46 a.m.

“The Giting ng Pasig got 15-0, of whom 11 are incumbents or incumbents in the Pasig City Government,” the city’s public information office said in a Facebook post.

They were proclaimed alongside Sotto during the same brief program.

Dodot Jaworski was proclaimed as the city’s vice mayor after winning 237,117 votes, beating Iyo-Caruncho Bernardo, who got 58,841 votes.

Additionally, Roman Romulo garnered 284,871 votes, securing a commanding lead over Ian Sia, who ultimately received 13,807 votes.

It can be recalled that Sia was disqualified by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Division, but had he won, he would have been allowed to assume his post since the Supreme Court did not rule in his case with finality.
